How do you feel about "Hot Sauce Mom"

I have been waiting all day to see what the verdict was. What do you think?

    I think what she did was absolutely horrible and glad she was found guilty.

    and the cold showers?? ugh. breaks my heart. one positive note is that she's getting counseling so I hope it works for her.

    IUI#1 - 05/20/08 = BFP! M/C - 14 weeks :( baby girl
    IUI#2 - 01/07/09 = BFP!!! Twins!! Pre-term labor 20 weeks :( lost twin girls
    IUI#3 - 1/31/10 = BFP!!!! M/C - 8wks :( again
    IVF #1 - 7/2010 = c/p
    FET - 9/2010 = another c/p
    IUI#4 - 2/14/11 = BFP!

    I was pretty shocked when I watched the video, I felt so bad for that poor little boy.  I hope she gets the helps she needs and never does anything so stupid and awful to one of her children again.

    We got on the topic of how someone could adopt these children then pull something like this...it just doesn't seem right

    I agree I felt terrible for that little boy!

    I remember seeing this on Dr. Phil last year sometime.  It was pretty bad and was hard to watch.  It just felt wrong to happen let alone for someone to have taped it happening.  I had no idea she was finally going through court and all.  I'm glad she was found guilty.  That was a very harsh form of discipline that crossed way over into abuse.  I just hope that little boy isn't permanently damaged from what she's done already.

    cold showers and hot sauce.  WTF is wrong with people.  That poor boy.  I think the mom's punishment should be soaking in an ice bath while eating habneros.

    Maybe that's how she was brought up - sad.  I feel guilty washing my dog with cold water from the hose!
