My LO has hated bottles from the start. I BF but would try to get her to take the occasional bottle to no avail.
I just started back to school and commute 2 hours each way. Before school started DH and I decided to really start trying to get her to take a bottle and she would just scream and scream. I had no choice but to leave her Monday and I figured she would give in and take a bottle if she were hungry enough.
I was wrong! Monday I was away 9 hours and she refused to eat the entire time. Tuesday I was gone 12 hours and thought for sure she would get used to the idea and EAT, I mean it is common survival instinct, right?? NOPE, nothing except for the 2 ounces my mom squirted into her mouth!
I am so distraught over this. I cried several times yesterday. Clinicals are about to begin and I will be working 12 hours shifts + the 4 hours drive time so I will be away from her for 16 hours twice a week. Any suggestions on bottles to try? Alternative feeding methods, etc??
