My eldest just went back to school this week, I can't begin to start thinking about Christmas already! Her claim of only 4 months away, though, freaked me out. What AM I going to do about the holidays? The boys have so much already. Any thoughts?

    I wanted to stab my eyes out when I saw that post. I can't even think about the holidays yet. Anyway, this is my first child and he's only 1 so I don't know how well this would go over but what about gifts of activities instead of toys? Like passes to the zoo, an ice skating rink, Discovery Place, etc? Or take a day before Christmas and purge some of the toys they no longer use to make room for the new? Your LO could help sort toys to donate and then deliver them together to the Salvation Army or whatever.

    I already planned on getting M a razor scooter. It's way too early to actively contemplate what else I'll get him.
