I'm donating my eggs to my sister- ?'s

I'm in the process right now. Any tips or other success stories would be greatly appreciated. I have no one to talk to that has been in the situation. Thank you!

    What a wonderful thing you are doing!  Your sister is lucky to have you.

    My awesome sister was an egg donor for me recently.  I have had 7 early losses and my RE believes that I just have really crappy eggs.  So, my sister generously offered her eggs.  We just completed the DE cycle at the end of July.  They transferred 2 high quality embryos and we had 10 to freeze!  I am currently 5w5d pregnant.  

    Given my history, I am definitely not out of the woods yet.  However, I've had better betas than ever before.  I have an u/s scheduled for later this week.

    I'm almost done with the birth control and about to meet with the lawyer and psychologist. I'm so glad to hear it worked for you. My sister mentioned that if it doesn't work, then she and her husband are through trying and I feel so much pressure. I know I have no control but I'm sure your sister felt the same way. Thank you and congrats to you:)

    I was an egg donor before I was diagnosed with PCOS.  It is one of the most rewarding things I've ever done.  I met with the couple who received my eggs but we do not stay in contact for their comfort level but I was told by my agency that the woman did get pregnant.  I also like to think this gift gave me good karma for my own IF journey.  

    Diagnosed PCOS 2/07, TTC #1 since 8/09
    11/10 - Clomid Round 1 = BFN
    12/10 - Clomid Round 2 = BFN
    1/11 - Voluntary Break = BFN (duh)
    2/11 - Clomid Round 3 = BFN
    3/11 - Femara + IUI = BFP * Beta#1=56 * Beta#2=266

    On behalf of your sister... Thank you! I went through a known donor egg cycle at the beginning of the year. It wasn't my sister but someone who might as well be! It is such an amazing gift. Try to stay positive and supportive, you are wonderful for offering this gift.

    What a wonderful gift you are giving your sister.  I used an anonymous egg donor but feel incredibly thankful to her for giving me these girls.

    There is a donor egg check in on Tues a.m. on this board, IF and IF Vets and it's open to those considering donation if you'd like more input.
