I know there were quite a few of us earlier on, but not sure how many people are still doing it. I'm torn about how long to continue combo feeding, so I was wondering what everyone has done or is planning to do. No judgment here, just really curious about what others are doing. So...

How long have you been combo feeding? Since LO was a few days old. There was a month or two where he was EBF'ed but then my supply tanked when I went back to work.
How much formula does your LO get per day? He gets about three 6 oz bottles at daycare because I just can't pump enough during work. Anything I pump gets used in his oatmeal cereal.
How often do you nurse/pump? I nurse in the morning before LO goes to daycare, at night before bed, and usually once overnight. I pump 2-3 times at work and sometimes once before I go to bed.
When are you planning to wean? Why? No clue. I keep thinking about weaning, but I always talk myself out of it. I'm very indecisive about the whole issue. When I think about weaning, it makes me happy to think I'll finally have my body back but it also makes me sad because I know I'll miss it. So then I continue nursing/pumping because I don't want to regret weaning. Siiiigh.
How long have you been combo feeding? Since her 6 mo visit when we discovered she'd lost weight.
How much formula does your LO get per day? She gets about 25-28oz a day total, and I'd say just under half of it is formula.
How often do you nurse/pump? I only nurse once a day, first thing in the morning. I pump 4 other times a day. I was trying to nurse more often and supplement each feeding with a bottle but she was too hard on my nipples so I had to stop.
When are you planning to wean? I'm hoping to make it to a year but we'll have to see how it goes. I am trying to build up my freezer stash so I can keep giving her BM until a year but hoping I can stop pumping so much before then. Right now I feel chained to the pump and I don't like it. I'd love it if I had enough to still nurse in the morning and give her one bottle of BM a day up to a year.
How long have you been combo feeding? On and off since birth. 100% combo since about 4 months.
How much formula does your LO get per day? He gets between 6-10 oz of formula a day. But he's not eating a ton of either right now... probably 20 oz total (BM and formula)
How often do you nurse/pump? I just went down to 2 sessions a day. 1 before work (around 6:30) and one before bed (around 9pm) I get between 10-12oz total from the 2 sessions. I expect that to go down, since this morning I only got 4.5 oz.
When are you planning to wean? I started the weaning process about a month ago. I hated pumping at work SO much, that I finally decided to stop. I figure, right now, I don't hate my 2 pumping sessions, so I'll keep pumping until a) my supply tanks or b) I really grow to despise the 2 current sessions.

How much formula does your LO get per day? She started out getting 4 oz back in the day and it was up to 8 by the time I gave up.
How often do you nurse/pump? I was nursing 2x and pumping 5 for a while, then reduced to just pumping 2 and nursing 2.
When are you planning to wean? Why? I just weaned this week. I was using my freezer stash to make up the difference between pumping and the 8 oz of formula, only to find that my milk had a lipase issue when frozen so over 1/2 of it had to be thrown away because B wouldn't eat it. At that point I was only pumping 12 oz and she's been eating 24-30, so once we ran out of frozen milk that didn't have the lipase issue I just gave up the pumping as well. That was pretty much the final blow to my BFing career. If the freezer stash had held out I would have kept it up until she was one because she would have still gotten mostly BM every day. When I became the supplement I just couldn't do it any more.

How long have you been combo feeding? Since day 1. Both my babies needed to be supplemented in the hospital and I probably could have worked up to EBF but I really liked having the option of switching back and forth.
How much formula does your LO get per day? About 3 bottles- 4 oz each.
How often do you nurse/pump? About 3-4 times a day. Usually 6:30 am, 11 am, 3 pm, 8 pm.
When are you planning to wean? Why? Sometime around 1 year- maybe longer just once a day. I had to wean DS at 8 mos b/c I was travelling for work. I always regretted it b/c he really seemed to get sick soon after that. I really believe it does keep them healthier longer and my pedi has encouraged me that even just a couple times a day is a highly nutritious snack. So I will keep it up at least till 1 year- that's my goal anyway.
