Worried about my fur baby girl :(

My oldest cat Roary is 8 yrs old and I noticed night before last that she was straining to pee/poop with no success . Then yesterday she upchucked on the couch. Google says it could be a uti . She's going to the vet in a few hours thanks to my brother since I have to go to work. Any ts and ps you can spare that she'll be ok are appreciated she's my first baby and I just can't fathom anything bad for her :(

    I hope she's okay!! Our cat used to get crystals in his urethra a lot. They would catheterize him and he'd be good to go in a couple days. I hope this is all she has too!! Sometimes just putting her on special food will prevent the crystals from forming! It's good that you're getting her in right away. Straining to pee is scary stuff :(

    Thanks everyone for the Ts and Ps. My brother is on his way with her to the vet for the first appointment that was available. Will update when the appointment is over! Hoping it's good news with a realtively simple cure/solution.

    Poor kitty! I hope she's OK. They should be able to take care of it with meds. My cat gets these constantly and a few days of meds and she always feels better! I hope it works for your kitty!
