Did you go earlier or later with #2? If you went earlier, did you have any signs? I'm just crossing my fingers I don't go late again. I know it can go either way but I'm just curious what seems to be more prevalent on this board. Wondering if those of us who will have 2u2 have bodies that are just really ready.

DD#2 came two weeks early, DD#1 came one day late. The girls are almost 19 months apart.

I was 4 days early with LO #2. I had no signs and had no progress at my earlier appointment. My water just randomly broke one afternoon! I was 6 days late with LO #2 so I was kinda expecting that. Also, I had a very quick labor and delivery with #2. I think my body just knew exactly what to do. Good luck!

DS was born at 38w5d.

DD was born at 38w2d.

I went earlier - I was 10 days overdue when I had DD1; DD2 was born on her due date. I never dilated or effaced with DD1 before going in for my induction, but dilated to almost 4cm with DD2 on my own. The day before my due date (also the day before my scheduled induction date), my doctor swept my membranes and 6.5 hours late I was in labor with contractions 2-3 minutes apart. I hope labor comes quickly for you!

I went later! I had DS1 15 days early and had DS2 4 days early. Still both of them early at least. ;o)

Both mine were scheduled c-sections. I had early signs of labor the evening before my c/s with DS1 which was 39w5d. I went into labor before my c/s with DS2 also, at 38w3d.

#1 was right at 40 weeks, #2 was 40 weeks, 6 days. So #2 was a week later! I had no signs, in fact, I walked around at 4 cm for three weeks with #2

They were both born at exactly 41 weeks. However, my first came on his own (labor started 3 hours before my scheduled induction) and with my second I did not go into labor and was induced. So, technically I guess Lizzy would have been "later" if not for the induction.

My second labor and delivery went much faster though. And for that, I am eternally grateful. :-)

My first was born at 41 weeks exactly. My second was born on her due date. Aside from labor, there were no early signs - in fact, I was more dilated at that point with my son.
