A Vent About Starburst & Hormones

Just because this is my first pregnancy, and you were fortunate enough to have a baby before me does not make me pregnancy illiterate. Ok? I'm pretty sure that having a couple starburst will not make my baby come out more hyper than me. Also: No, I never knew that the reason why I'm breaking out so much on my face is due to HORMONES! You don't say? I guess I just forgot that I was born yesterday. (eye roll) Oh and hormones were also the reason that I broke out around the time of my period?Man what the heck would I do with out you and your inquisitive knowledge about the female body? Feels good to get that off my chest. :)

    Haha, I didn't know where you were going with "A Vent about Starburst". Sadly, I'm sure all of the unsolicited advice will continue when your LO is here, but at least after baby is born you can drink. :)

    I appreciate this! I'm so sick of hearing all the "facts" and advice from random people. This is my second pregnancy and I keep hearing about how busy I'm going to be when the baby comes--No ***!?! Because I have no idea what it is like to have a newborn. My favorite is the people who tell me that I will need to make sure and sleep when the baby sleeps. Really? What about the 2 year old that will then be unsupervised in my house? AND, yes. I'm sure I do look tired. It is probably because I am tired. I am knocked up and spend my day chasing a toddler. Also-- I'm pretty sure that this one cup of coffee per day I have (that is my only weapon against this killer fatigue) is not going to cause birth defects and no, I don't think I'm doing a disservice to me baby by drinking it. :-) I hate people :-) I enjoyed your post--sorry people are stupid!

    And this is why, I don't go out, steer clear of family and have no friends...lol. Sorry about all the great advice.

    And did you know that lemonade cures morning sickness?  If only this person had bestowed this glorious cure-all upon me before I took zofran for 3 months!

    That's wonderful advice I'll add it to the list I have.  My favorite, "you know you are going to get bigger".  You don't fing say I never knew!!! This isn't even my first.

    I love my sleep, and always have, so I am sooo tired of the enjoy your sleep now comments. i am not enjoying my sleep now, the baby isn't even here and I can't seem to sleep for more than 4 hours and go back to sleep.....ugh, im sure the comments will get worse as i start to show more.

    Ugh I had to have the same kind of vent the other day....I'm over hearing "oh just wait til you...blah blah blah."  I don't care!  Let me enjoy my pregnancy and experience everything on my own.  Seriously....!!  Also, I'm tired of people telling me what I can and can't do.  Sure, I've never been pregnant before so if I feel like walking up/down the stairs I'm going to do.  I know how you feel...vent away!!!
