Thanks to Charmcitygirl I scored O's vs Yanks tickets for Saturday!
I'm looking for a hotel in the downtown/inner harbor area but because it's last minute everything is booked. I am not familiar with Baltimore at all so can someone suggest another area close by that may be less populated this weekend?
Thanks!
Re: Baltimore ladies
The areas around the Harbor that would all be good for you would be: Inner Harbor, Canton, Federal Hill or Fells Point.
Specifically, I would check the Radisson Lord Baltimore (where we got married) and the Days Inn at the Convention Center.
You could also check over in Fells Point - they have some cute more boutique hotels, but they might not be booked. We stayed at the Inn at Henderson's Wharf for our anniversary and it was super cute. There's also the Admiral Fell Inn and Pier 5 Hotel.
Finally, if nothing worked around the Harbor, you could try something a couple of miles uptown like the Tremont. That would only be a very short cab ride to the Inner Harbor/Camden Yards.
PS - I dropped the tickets in the mail this afternoon, so they should get to you in a day or two!
I second the Admiral Fell's Inn or Pier 5 in Fells Point. I think that there are also a few new Holiday Inn Expresses right by the Inner Harbor. I am near White Marsh and there are cheap hotels up here but you will miss the fun of the Inner Harbor, etc. Oh, you can take a taxi from Fells Point. The walk is pretty long from there, but I have done it before.
Have fun!
Thanks again Allison!!
We will have a car, and we have no problem staying outside the city, I guess my only concern is the cost of parking then. Thanks for the suggestions ladies off to go check them out!
