wow that's crazy!!
Here is a woman from my Due Date board on FF.... she was laboring in the tub waiting for her midwife to get there.

A friend's friend delivered his wife's baby at home (half hour labor, i hear) before the midwife arrived. The idea of labor is daunting enough, but doing it alone? Yikes.
You could always do a home birth! The midwives I used for O and E will come to your house!
Holy crap! That is crazy.
I've definitely wondered about this too, since my body didn't get to do it on it's own. I'm more curious than worried though.

I am worried because my pit-contrax were so horrendous that I don't think I will know what "real" contractions feel like. I am afraid of waiting too long. But I would imagine that my OB would give me good guidelines and little leeway during a VBAC.

Well, what I thought were Braxton Hicks must have been doing more than I thought! But I agree, once they really kicked it into gear there was no doubt what was happening. But as scary as it was, and as much as I did not want to give birth in the ambulance, I'd take Anna's labor over Max's any day of the week! Two pushes vs pushing for an hour and a half? Yes, please!
Tosh.0 did a bit on the video.
Yeah she was really upset by that.
I thought that too. If she was high risk, why was she waiting it out? I'm glad everything was ok in the end.
