cures for heartburn?

I've been having some heartburn lately the past few days, haven't figured out what it is I'm eating cuz seems like everything I eat gives me heartburn. I've heard lemon water helps, baking soda in water (dont really wanna try that), milk, milk w honey, plain bread, and of course Tums. I figured I could tough it out seeing as I don't have any tums, lemons, honey or bread at the moment lol so does anyone know what else helps that they've tried at home? Thanks!
