Re: what is your LO doing?

  • JENNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't seen you in forever and I miss you.

Anyway, Lila is 3 months old now. She is rolling front to back, batting at stuff, starting to talk to herself and chew a lot, and was able to scoot across her blanket (NOT in a "I am about to crawl way, but in a I can't stand to be right here anymore so I am going to kick my legs until I am over there and take an hour to do it". She is too heavy now to do that anymore.) And she has been STTN basically since birth.

  • Zoe holds her head up very well (except during tummy time on the floor), scoots around in circles, reaches and grabs for things and puts them in her mouth, talks a lot and just since yesterday has learned how to screech!  She is 3 months old today.

  • Em is 12 weeks :) She can roll over, talks up a storm, grabs toys/paci and puts them in her mouth, supports her head completely, can sit up pretty well on her own (like in a bumbo), she too has been STTN since birth. She also enjoys mocking you. If you do her 'talking' she talks back.

A bad thing- she has a little attitude. If she doesn't like what you are doing, she screams  until you stop.

  • Tottle is 4 months old now.  He's holding full conversations in Korean, reading Tolkien, and taking on advanced physics.

No, but seriously, he coos at us constantly...says "hi YiaYia (my mom)" to get our attention, has two bottom teeth coming in, drools enough to water my houseplants every day, and is starting to take on rice cereal from a spoon. Yes

  • DS is almost 4 months and he is giggling, grabbing things, chewing/sucking on his hands, babbling/cooing, rolling over, and doing sit ups by pulling himself up by holding my fingers. He also found his feet today, it wont be long before they go in his mouth like everything else he gets a grip on!

  • Ben is 3.5 months old. He completely holds up his head while sitting and is getting better at holding it up while lying on his belly.

He laughed for the first time this week - hilarious and cute!

He's reaching and grabbing and pushing buttons on his jumperoo (and not randomly smacking, but obviously looking at the button, trying for a minute, and then finally pushing down on it).

He STTN this past week and is nursing like a pro!

Also, he is now loving the ring sling I wear him in. He was skeptical at first, but it was probably a factor of me being a babywearing newbie!

  • Viv is 12 weeks old.  She can currently hold her head up for very long periods of time while sitting up and can lift her head and chest up off a flat surface (mattress or floor)  She coos/babbles a lot.  She has laughed a few times, but it's not very consistent. Just today, she managed to put a toy/teether in her mouth!  And got very excited that she was able to do it.

V rolls from tummy to back and scoots by kicking her legs across her activity mat.  She's a great nursling, but not a great sleeper.  The best we get is a 4 hour stretch for the first part of the night.  But she's a happy, smiling, loving baby!  Thanks for the brag request!  It's nice to talk about her without feeling like I'm getting on anyone's nerves.

  • DS is almost 16 weeks, and is rolling over tummy to back, grabbing for EVERYTHING IN SIGHT and putting it in his mouth, tripoding, standing up in his exersaucer and playing with the toys, laughing, grabbing his feet, laughing, pushing himself up on his feet when on his tummy, and STTN.

What spectacular little babies we all have!! But somebody has got to tell them to SLOW DOWN because they are growing up too fast!!

  • Lucas is 3 months and loves to grab things and put them in his mouth. He loves looking around when we are out for a walk and has great head control.

He has rolled from his tummy to his back several times and STTN every night for a week.

"Ahh-goo" is his favorite baby word. DH was playing with him yesterday and I swear he laughed for the first time, but then he never did it again.

In the morning he will cry/yell for us to come get him and when you show up at the side of his crib he will beam you the biggest good morning smile.  It's the most adorable thing. Then he will cry bloody murder if I dare change his diaper before I feed him but if DH picks him up first and changes his diaper, there are no tears, just smiles during the diaper change.

  • DD is rolling all over the place, both back to tummy and tummy to back.  She holds her head up very well and just yesterday has started using the jumperoo which she likes for a little bit.  She is babbling and cooing still like crazy, smiling and making giggles/chuckles- too cute!  She grasps her hands together, and gets them to her mouth.  She also is batting at and grabbing onto toys, and bringing those to her mouth as well.  She can lift her head just about 90 degrees on her tummy and tries to scoot herself by moving her legs.

I wish there was a "like" button I could hit for some of these posts.

I'm just relieved that Sarina started to look at her hands! She had rolled from front to back, can scoot around by kicking her legs, has laughed out loud once and can put weight on her legs, but aside of shoving them into her mouth, she hadn't really noticed her hands. Now she examines them. Whew. Oh, and she sleeps through the night. Thank goodness, because I am back at work now.

  • Evan turned 3 mos yesterday and is laughing, "talking" up a storm, chewing/sucking on his hands, entertaining himself for 10-15 minutes (mommy LOVES this one) at a time, drooling, spitting bubbles, reaching for toys and grabbing them, STTN (yay!), and working on rolling over.

  • D is just over 3 months. She rolls from tummy to back, grabs her toys, pushes her self up during tummy time, she has great head control and she is STTN. She also is a total gabber - just like her mom. She is talking all the time. And by talking I mean saying goo and gaa. She also laughs out loud. A lot. She's got a great sense of humor already.

  • Hi Jen :)

She's rolling all over the place. I can't keep her on her mat anymore. This is craziness, because my DS walked at 10 months but rolled 2 weeks after she did (and she was 2 weeks early!) I think I'm in for it w/ this one.

She's also a huge chatterbox. I have so many awesome videos of her just chatting away. She's going to be a social butterfly, kind of like her Momma. :)

  • My boys will be 4 months old this week (born a little shy of 37 weeks).

    Both are around 15 lbs.

Noah is a big flirt. He smiles, chats and chuckles at you. He has great hand control and can grab objects easily. He can roll from tummy to back (but not vice versa). He's my little observer, taking everything in.

Elijah is my smiling happy baby. He squeals and giggles at everything you say and makes a ton of different vocal sounds. He can't roll over yet, but is getting much better with head control during tummy time.

  • Silas is 3 months old. He rolls over, grabs everything in site and puts it in his mouth, pulls himself up to a sitting position by holding my fingers, has awesome head control, talks up a storm, follows me with his eyes across the room, and smiles all the time. Especially at me :)

  • Zoe giggled for the first time today while I was nibbling and kissing her neck, which makes up for her not even remotely STTN.
