When we started, we did the every 3 hours thing, so LO's wake time was 9 and bedtime was 9. I still feed her every 3 -3.5 hours during the day, and her waketime is around 7:30-8, usually.
Our problem is that she is still going to bed at 9. I'd love to move her bedtime to 8 or even 8:30. But every time we try to move it back (we've tried different increments, 5 min, 15 min, 30 min) it still results in a 9 pm bedtime...she just refuses to go down and fall asleep any earlier. When we put her to bed earlier, she cries (full on cries) unless we soothe her until 9. So an earlier bedtime just results in more time we spend in her room at night, nobody goes to sleep any earlier. 
Any suggestions for shifting her bedtime? She does take a little catnap between her 6 p.m. and bedtime feeding, usually wakes up right before her bath and bedtime routine.

588 - Lisa just told me to have a look at her schedule which is posted in another thread. The thread is on this page and was started by Gia...something (can't remember the screen name).
I just attempted an earlier bedtime by doing bathtime an hour earlier tonight and it worked. She was asleep in bed by 8. Still asleep and it's almost 10, I will report back tomorrow on whether or not we had a super early morning.
We give her a bath and do it pretty much the same way every night, except only use soap every other night. But we "wash" her with the washcloth, shampoo and play. If she's getting fussy we cut playtime a little short. Then straight to the changing table, lights are off in the room and we only talk very quietly to her. Lotion, diaper, PJs. Give her a bottle, burp, wait for poop, diaper change, swaddle. Rock for a couple of minutes (maybe 5-7). Put her in bed with paci. We usually go in once or twice in the next 10 minutes to put her paci back in, but sometimes not.
She slept 8-8 last night! She did wake up at 4 and I fed her since it had been 8 hours. I thought if I didn't she'd wake up at 5 or 6 and want to be up for the day. I'll probably work on phasing that feeding out once she's 4 months.
Success! And Cece still wakes occasionally at 4-5 and I feed her. Like I mentioned to you 8-9 is a great stretch and that 4-5am thing will phase out soon.
