Have you had PP sex yet?

If so, how was it the first time? I haven't had my 6 week appointment yet (it is next week), but I am nervous about "doing it" after having stitches (even though I should be healed if I get the go ahead).

Hell no. I am dreading it and in all honestly, probably won't for a while still. DD tore me a new one and while it doesn't hurt these days I can still tell there is a lot of scar tissue. Pooping is just starting to not be agonizing this week! LOO 0 Poor DH. Does that make me q bad wife?!

I had my 6 week PP yesterday, and I was very excited to come home to the hubby and have some us time!This may be different because I did not tear, or need stitches, but I did have a natural birth. So last night we had the first time PP sex, and it was good! I had to be sure I was on top to control everything, and it took a little bit for me to 'adjust'. We just took it really slow and used LOTS of lube because i'm BF.

The biggest problem was that LO woke up right in the middle, and we had to stop, but once we calmed her we picked right back up where we left off Wink . I am a little sore today, and I had only been spottong before, so I'm not sure if i'll start bleeding again. But it was so nice to reconnect after baby and family visits, even if at first and today i'm a little uncomfortable.

The first time wasn't painful at all. It felt "different", but not painful. FWIW, I also tore and had stitches.

we finally did at 8 weeks and I have to say after a few glasses of wine it was pretty good.

We're not cleared yet, but even if we were I'm not totally ready yet. Physically I'm fine, but... meh. When we do there will be a big bottle of wine, an even bigger bottle of lube, and a babysitter involved.

Nope. I am 7 weeks PP and when I went in at 5.5 weeks, he told me to wait several more weeks because I was not fully healed after tearing.

I'm still sore as heck so the thought of sex makes me want to cry. Poor H went 8 months without it during the pregnancy too so he's dying over here.

We did it 2 weeks in, it felt OK and only pinched a little at first. We've done it a handful more times since then and the last time finally felt more like old times. I did tear and had an episiotomy. I think I should have waited a little longer, I hope things are still healing well.

Yes. It was (and still is) painful for me. I think that has to do more with BFing than anything though. I had a c/s.

I had a c section on 7/18 and saw the doctor for my 4 week appointment on 8/18. We had sex about 3 days after that. It wasn't planned and wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was definitely uncomfortable and we had to use a bunch of KY but it was sooo nice to be intimate without a giant belly in the way and I was able to move around, unlike late pregnancy sex that I was able to enjoy it anyway. Hopefully practice makes perfect.

No.. I've been cleare for 2 weeks but the opportunity hasn't really come up yet. We're both so tired by the time we get in bed that it's hard to take time. i do miss the special time with DH though and I'm pretty sure we will make time by this weekend. Things don't feel totally normal down there but I healed fine. Hopefully it doesn't hurt too badly!
