A Couple More Questions

Hi~

I knew I could think of a few more.  My little guy is almost totally on formula now as I go back to school soon.  I am such a rookie with the formula!  Thanks!

--For those that use a formula mixing pitcher...do you leave the mixed formula in the pitcher overnight or pour into bottles?

--What about burping before bed?  When BF, he almost never spit up and I never burped him before bed, but with the formula, I feel like he needs it.  Burping, though, can take a good 5 minutes and he goes from drowsy to wide awake.  What do you do with yours?

Re: A Couple More Questions

  • I don't use formula so I can't help you there, but I don't burp LO anymore.  She doesn't spit up or get gassy and if she does need to burp she usually does it as soon as I sit her up right after I nurse her...  I don't know if that helps at all.

  • I use powdered formula and I have a pitcher of filtered, boiled water that I leave on the counter.  I just mix up a fresh bottle each time.  She gets her formula at room temp.

  • Sorry - just noticed the "For those that use a formula mixing pitcher".  Please ignore prior post.

  • I leave it in the pitcher all day and pour as needed.

    I rarely burp DS anymore.
