Music
Music has always played a large role in my life. When the board first started up two years ago or so we would have the occasional post about a song/music video that helped us during a particularly difficult time. So I say we all post the songs that made an impact on our lives.

I saw a direct correlation to the music that I was listening to and the stage of the grieving process that I was in.
A few that I listened to when XH and I first split:

Then right after my divorce was finalized I loved (and still love)

Now I like:

It was after the fact, but seeing the video for this song really hit home with how abusive and dysfunctional my relationship with my ex-husband was. I am SOOO not the little 19 year old girl that married him all those years ago.
