We're back from the family visit.  It was good and bad as expected.  Great to see everyone and seeing the kids get acquainted, stressful because, well, it's my family and nothing can be easy.  Both kids did great on the plane trips and DH is now firmly convinced we should get rid of the beds and just invest in the toddler cot we got from WalMart so DD wouldn't have to sleep on the floor.  DD slept so soundly in it and it was easy to pack in the suitcase (and light too).  Of course, I got a cold a week ago and DH recently got it (a full blown man-cold -- he is out of commission while I, still a snot factory, did 2 loads of laundry and unpacked 3 1/2 suitcases and 2 carry-ons).  And DH and I fly out in a couple of days with the ILs on childcare duty to get away to hopefully recover from our colds.  But good to get home finally and back in the swing of things.
