What is this shimmering silvery thing in my hair???

That's right...I found my first gray hair!!! I yanked it out and held it up to the light to inspect...and to convince myself it was merely a sun bleached blonde hair. It didn't work. It was clearly gray. That's it ladies. Downhill from here. My days will be filled with hair dye and my nights with anti-aging facial creams. LOL. DH thought it was hysrerical. Tsk tsk. :P. Just needed to share! It was slightly traumatic but mostly amusing with my rambling, cursing, and antics regarding being "too young for gray..."

    If it makes you feel any better I found my first and only grey hair when I was 18 and in highschool. I've been dying it since so I wont be finding any more.

    I found my first gray hair when I was 16.  At 28 I now have a streak of pure gray and then more gray sprinkled throughout!

    I have two hidden white threads :)  I'm only 24....but I kinda like it - I feel secretly distinguished. lol, and when I found my second one, I sort of thought, "hmm.. it'd kind of be cool to go silver early, as long as its a nice texture and not too wirey."  - so far only two have been found tho. and for the record, I'm calling them white.

    TTC since 8/2010. Irregular cycles after stopping BCP.
    1st BFP! 3/26/11. Missed M/C - D&C 5/2/11.

    I had that discovery a few months ago....I'm 31 by the way.  It's right behind my ear so I don't want to start coloring my hair yet.  I'm too lazy to maintain it and dying my hair usually makes it dry and hay-like. So I will refrain from dying at least for now.

    lol. My DH is getting some gray hair, too! We noticed his first one a couple a months ago.

    Chin up, hun. I found my first gray hair when i was 13. My sister has had it since she was 10 (Im 23 and shes 15). I dont dye my hair at all but I am thinking about doing reddish brown highlights (I have blackish brown hair).

    Now now...you are gorgeous just the way you are!  AND I much prefer silver hair to gray hair because it sounds more expensive.  Just consider it a metallic highlight!  Heck, people are putting feather extensions in their hair...silver can't be that bad!  Big Smile

    I like the fact that silver would blend in with my highlighted blonde... but I started using antiwrinkle cream on my 25th birthday!

     

    LOL, I tried to delude myself into thinking that I was growing blonde hairs at the ripe age of 28. And I also started using antiwrinkle cream in my 20s. Best advice ever!
