Since we have so many new posters lately I thought it would interesting to do a little who's who for those of us who are newer to the board. Plus the PP about Northern Jersey got me curious to see if anyone out there is in my geographical area.

3. We met on eHarmony - and everytime one of those cheesy commercials comes on the TV DH says "Don't even think of trying to get us on a commercial" Smile

4. I am a project manager for a software development company - I run the installation projects. I travel alot which I initially contributed to our TTC issues.

5. In 2000 I worked for BP and also traveled quite a bit. They sent me to Cairo, Egypt to run a training class for one day! So I took 2 extra days and got to see the city which included riding a camel around the pyramids. In addition to Egypt, thanks to BP I also got to go to London, Paris, Rome, and Dublin.

4. What do you do for a living? - I work for a company that makes Radiation Detection Devices

5. Something interesting about yourself - I'm going back into dog showing!! I used to raise and show Shetland Sheepdogs (back in my 20's) but now I'm entering the show ring with my new boy - an Australian Shepherd. I am really excited about it.

5. Something interesting about yourself: I don't drink hot liquids. Ice coffee even in zero degrees. My mom used to put my hot chocolate in the fridge when I played in the snow..

1. Your name IRL I never post my real name for fear of I'm not sure what, I was just told never to do that, I usually just go by MIchelle online which is one of my names (I have three)

2. Where you are from Toronto, Ontario (now living 1 hour north of the city and loving it)

3. How you met your DH or significant other Through mutual friends (we grew up with some of the same friends and only met as adults years later, he would often visit the house of my relative and her husband and so would I, eventually I told him to look me up and invite me out, he did)

4. What do you do for a living? I work in an office environment. (clinic)

5. Something interesting about yourself Not much to say there. I had kids young and now will be trying again. I guess it's different that if successful my kids will have an age gap of over 13 years. (my oldest will be 17 years older and my youngest will be over 13 when the newest one will be born, I suppose that would be my new youngest....lots to get used to) Scary...

5. Something interesting about yourself - I'm not sure if it's interesting or not, but I am 10 yrs older than my DH! Keeps life interesting!

Seems to be a few Canadian girls on here...all from the same general area. Cool!

3. We met through mutual friends and hit it off pretty much instantly.

4. Right now, not much.

5. I'm not sure what's interesting about me. Here are a few random factoids, you can decide whether you think any of them are interesting:

*I hate mushrooms with a passion -- I find the texture repulsive and they taste like dirt. I will pick them off or out of anything before I will eat it, even in a fancy restaurant or formal setting.

*In high school I would take my lunch to school every day -- a mustard and potato chip sandwich. Preferably on rye bread.

*My musical tastes are very eclectic and my ipod contains everything from Elvis to Kenny Rogers to Britney Spears to David Bowie, to just about everything except rap music, which I've never really developed a taste for (although I do have some spoken word artists that I like alot !)

3. I used to work for him when he was married to another woman! Nothing happened between us during those days. I left to go to grad. school, he got divorced, and we reconnected a few years later. A great friendship blossomed into something even greater.

3. How you met your DH or significant other-- Match.com. I was dating someone else I had met on Match but was thinking of breaking up with him. I put my profile up for exactly 1 day, and he sent me the nicest note and he didn't even have a picture posted. I continued to date the loser that i was dating for a very long time, but we became best friends, and 2 1/2 years and a couple of broken hearts later I finally came to my senses and realized he was the one. I am so f-ing happy with him I can't believe it. And I would love to do a commercial and he would probably do it just to make me happy

4. What do you do for a living? Executive Assistant for an NFL football executive.

5. Something interesting about yourself: I spent a year teaching English as a second language in Seoul, Korea. It was only a year, but it changed my life. I met my first husband there, and also one of my closest friends today.

3. How you met your DH or significant other: Went with a friend to a hockey game with a bunch of her friends. She had known DH for several years and made sure to tell me he was single. We ended up hitting it off and he asked me out at the end of the night.

5. Something interesting about yourself: I'm adopted and as a kid I always told my parents that I would adopt when I was married like they did. This May we finalized the adoption of our son. We were matched with our son thanks to a very very special person!(WonderRed)

5. Something interesting about yourself I am a lefty too, If successful at TTC I will have a 24/25 year age gap from my first to my last. The crazy thing to me is My one and only sibling who is from the same parents, He is 19 years older than me. I always told my mother she was nuts for having kids that far apart. She and my Dad were married 63 years (RIP Dad) and Mom got KU both times they " tried". (some people!) I always told My Mom by 30 I would be done and wouldn't want more. She always just smiled at me when I said it. Now she laughs and says " I knew you would want more later in life". Guess Mom does know best!Fun post!

3. How you met your DH or significant other-Met in high school-on very different paths. He married someone else, his wife had a congenital heart defect and passed away < 5 years into their marriage from natural causes. He looked me up and the rest is history.

5. Something interesting about yourself-I have an 18yo son who is trying to buy his first car and enrolling in college this month. Talk about working at opposite ends of the spectrum!!! Sometimes even we think we are crazy for TTC at this point in our lives.

5. Something interesting about yourself - Even though I am going through IF, I have really good genes. My 63 y/o mother looks 45, my 31 y/o sister looks like she is 15, (seriously, she used to teach junior high and she had to change it up because of how young she looks; it wasn't working). I am 37 and get carded every time I buy wine or beer. My co-workers sort of freak out when they find out how old I am and my husband sometimes gets weird looks and people who don't know us well always ask him how much younger I am, (it's 6 years). I am going to ride that out as long as I possible can! It may also have something to do with being short and having chubby cheeks though too.
