It is on the top of my left foot and I got it right after our IVF cycle in 2008. It is 2 branches of cherry blossoms- 1 branch has 6 flowers with 5 petals each (30 petals=my age at the time 30) and the other branch has 7 flowers with 5 petals each (35 petals=my DH's age at the time 35) and then there are 3 small butterflies for the 3 embryos we transfered.
DH drew it and I love it- I just wish some of the lines were a little bit cleaner. I am thinking about having it touched up and somehow having something incorporated that represents LO.
I have a tramp stamp. Oh yeah. Just a swirly quasi-tribal design of sorts - I didn't want it to "mean" anything necessarily, but rather act as a reminder of that time in my life. I really want another one (and even know what I'd get!), but I don't know where to put it....
DH has one on his left bicep. It is similar, but more masculine. He got it when he turned 18. and seeing his is what inspired me to get mine!
Brought to you by IVF, ICSI, limited fert, and oocyte cryopreservation. Because we're fancy like that.
A star on my right hip. Got it on Haight Ashbury street in San Fran..It was during my hippy/Phish following college days, I would have NEVER gotten it if I was of full sound and mind if you get my drift.
I have a flower on my right hip. I got it in college and put it in that place so that I know it is there but dont have to show it as I get older (and fatter).
My sister wants me to get one with her but I dont know where to put it...
I went the piercing route in college...but all of them are out now...luckily, you can't see where my nose was pierced..although that was my favorite and I wouldn't mind having it still!
I have a tramp stamp - the cliche Japanese symbol. It supposedly means rock or mountain (I'm a geologist). I have a triskelion (Celtic symbol) on the front of my shoulder, an Arkansas razorback on my ankle, and a recycling symbol on the inside of my wrist.
My husband has a million (not sleeves or anything, just a full back piece and a few on his chest and shoulders).
I have 4, I really want 1 more of Dillon's name and DOB, but I am not sure where to stick it.
What I have now:
A parrot on a rose on my shoulder.
A rose on my ankle and the thorns go around it as an anklet
Near my heart is the Chinese symbol for strength of heart
and one really stupid one I got when I was 18 and my BF broke up with me... It was my first one, and I said I would mourn the end of our relationship forever with a dagger going through a heart
I got them all between 18-20 and I kind of wish I put all of them in more hide-able places, but too late now.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I have a small dragonfly on my lower back- right side. Probably not the best choice but I was 16 and forget it's there. Thankfully I didn't choose a more noticable spot!

my husband has one, it's on his upper thigh. I hate it. I hated it before we had kids, now I hate it even more because I know that my conversation with my teenage child will go something like "why can't I have a tattoo, dad has one..." Sigh.
Our Journey from two to three!
3 IUI's, 2 IVF's, decided to move to foster/adopt.
12/24/2009 Baby C born, 2/1/2010 placed with us,
5/17/2011 Adoption final- we are finally a forever family!
LOL, I don't even know how many I have.... 12, maybe? I have them all over - 1 that covers my entire chest, a full sleeve on my left arm, a couple on my right arm, on my feet, one that covers the back of my left calf from my knee to my ankle, some smaller ones on my ribs, ankle and right wrist.
Ugh. I have 6. I got most of them between the ages of 18 and 20, and regret most of them. Here we go:
1. Tramp stamp, tribaly swirly looking thing. My BFF Jake has the same one, same place. Got when we were 18 together.
2. Butterfly in the middle of my back. I hate it now. It was my birthday and apparently i needed a butterfly.
3. Dragon on my right shoulder. I love this one. i would def. keep it.
4. Tribal wings on the back of my neck.
5. My zodiac symbol on my left bicep. Aquarius waves. I love this one.
6. Shamrock in celtic knots on my ankle. My DH has the same one on his calf. We are both irish (he is mostly irish, I am mostly scottish with a little irish) and our dating anniversary is St. Patrick's day. On the last SPD before we got married, we got these tattoos to commemorate our relationship. We got them on our anniversary, on SPD. We got shamrock tattoos on SPD. We felt so lame and cliche.

I have the outline of a tiny star on my left foot. Several of my sorority sisters have the same or a variation of it. I could do with or without it. Most days I forget it's even there I've had it so long!
My DS has one on his left upper bicep/shoulder. It's a lion holding a rose. It's a part of his fraternity's badge.
Both are in places that can be covered it need be, which I'm glad we did now!

Two crosses on my lower back (not tramp stamps though). One is done in all black ink and is a cross with the crown of thorns wrapped around it. The other is a celtic cross that is purple, and has ivy wrapped around it with a Scripture verse.
One heart with a starburst design on my hip (hate this one).
One on each foot. Right foot is butterflies and flowers. Left foot is a butterfly and the word Faith.
One on my mid upper back. It's a calla lily with Matt's birthday.
TTC for 19 months. Dx: PCOS. 3 IUI's with Clomid= BFN 1st IUI with injectables= BFP
Yeah, I have a flower chain on my lower back (yep, a tramp stamp). I would regret it, but I got it when I was 21 with my mom when we were on vacation. She got a butterfly on her shoulder I had always said I wanted one, and she kind of talked me into doing it, saying she always wanted one too and she'd do it if I did. People who know us found this very funny because we are so not tattoo-type people She passed away, so I kind of feel like it's almost a connection to her.
A "tramp stamp" for me, actually it was a tribal thingy at one time (got it when I was in college) and then made it in to a huge a** butterfly after my g-pa passed b/c we always watched butterflies together. (And no, I didn't want it that big, but once it's there, it's there!) Luckily it's hidden and there will never be a bikini worn again in my future, so...
As for DH, he has 5, one on each arm and lower leg, and a pretty silly one around his belly button. Got the belly button one when he was 18 and had a 6 pack, needless to say the 6 pack is gone and he hates it now!
Both of us are thinking of getting a small one for our DD, where and what not sure. I was thinking a small lady bug on my foot, I call her "buggy" so it's fitting.
PCOS~MFI~MTHFR
IUI #1,#2,#3- BFN
IVF #1- BFP!--C/P
FET #1 = BFP!!!
DD- June 3, 2010, Via C-section.
FET #2 = BFN
IVF #2 = BFP!
I have one-"Tramp stamp" location-It's a large trinity knot with design on either side of it. I picked the trinity knot and my bff designed the rest of it (she's a graphic designer). I don't love it as much as I used to but I think b/c it's so big. Have thought about getting another on my wrist to represent all my kids (living and m/c) once we're done having kids. We'll see...

Diagnosed PCOS & MFI-Success with IUI
I have a sun on my lower back...but it is going away as soon as I am done being pregnant.
I've had it for years and years, and it is just not who I am anymore. It must go...
Do I win?
I don't have one since I am terrified of needles. Yet I went through many yrs of injecting myself for i/f treatments. Hmmm.
Dh has one. He got it when ds was around 6 months old. It's ds name and his birthdate on his upper right arm.
