S/O The Help

I know we talked abotu the movie The Help last week so I wanted to AW - It's playing this week at our movie theater during the Stars and Strollers time slot!!! YAY!!!

A few of the gals from my breastfeeding group and I are going to go see it with our LOs. Hurray for mommy time!

    Same here!  A girlfriend and I are planning to go.  At our theater, there are waiters and menus and a bar, too.  They will bring you food or drink during the movie if you want.

    It's one of my favorite books so I'm pretty excited about seeing the movie.

    It was pretty good! I don't think they stressed enough how dangerous it was for these women but I really enjoyed the movie.

    I meant it to be flattering. Have you watched it? They are so fabulous! Its like hollywood in the south, i know your not in Dallas from your siggy but it's all in TX right?

    No, I haven't watched it.  I'll try to remember to DVR it.  And those of us from Houston and Austin get very offended if we are mistaken for Dallas folks. ;)

    I'm originally from Dallas and currently live in Houston. FYI to those who aren't aware... the two cities are about 200 miles apart. And completely different. :)

    Also, pook - are you talking about Alamo Drafthouse or Movie Tavern? I've had so many bad experiences at Movie Tavern, it's not even funny. I'm not sure why I kept going back, but I guess I always figured it would be better the next time. Alamo Drafthouse is great, though. And I love how they play funny videos ahead of the movie! We went there to see Harry Potter.

    The nicest movie theater in my hometown has a VIP section for 21+ like this.  That's the way going to a movie should be!  Haha.
