My registry is looking a bit....weak.
It mainly consists of the little essential baby products (burp clothes, receiving blankets, sheets, changing pad cover, utensils, etc). There are two larger items (pack n play and high chair) but nothing really inbetween in price.
I'm looking for some reccommended $30-$60 range items. So many items in this price range I'm not sure are worth the money or are just "trendy" baby products.
Re: Mid Priced Baby Items
Here are some ideas in that price range but most of them are not "essentials":
Breastfeeding pillow and covers
Activity mat/play gym
Aden & Anais swaddle blankets
Mobile
Nursery lamp
Night light or those musical/lights white noise bears, turtles, sleep sheep, etc.
Frame stroller for car seat
Diaper pail
Mid-range diaper bag
Humidifier
Bath gift sets
I also wanted to mention Moby wrap or some sort of inexpensive wrap/sling style carrier
Here are things we didn;t put on our list that we had to go out and buy or items that we just love:
jemper
shades for car windows
different bottles to find "the right one" and nipple sizes
wipe warmer (it gets cold here and when LO was little she would scream at the cold wipes)
halo snuza (thats a higher price range)
formula container for travel (unless you are BFing)
lots of diapers, wipes and diaper pail bags (we registered for them but you always need them)
miracle blanket
swing- we recommend snugabunny!
activity mat- we recommend Lamaze space symphony mat
homedics sound spa
angel care moniter
bath products
I don't have one but a Moby wrap is good to have for a newborn.
Rock n' play
We didn't bother registering for clothes. People like to pick stuff out on their own.
HTH!
A few from our list:
Humidifier
Good first aid kit/thermometer
Diaper bag
Breathable bumper
Activity center/play mat
Bumbo
White noise machine
Baby wrap/carrier
Bottle starter set
Bundleme
Off the top of my head:
- rock n play
- floor mat/gym
- boppy
- humidifier

You've already gotten a lot of great ideas, but I'll add my favorites:
- Boppy Pillow (I used this for nursing, tummy time, and for sleeping on the floor next to the crib)
- Temporal (forehead) Thermometer (I love this thing)
- Bouncy Seat
- Bumbo
- Sound Machine
- Crib Mobile
- Activity Center/ Play Mat
- Aden & Anais Blankets (these can replace any flannel receiving blankets)
- Baby grooming set (brush, comb, clippers, bulb syringe, etc.)
- Exersaucer/ Jumperoo (your baby will grow up some day and you will want this)
Good luck and have fun with your registry and planning for baby!
bouncy seat
Moby wrap
diaper bag
diaper pail
mattress pad
Miracle blanket
baby gate
potty chair
Boppy pillow
humidifier
diapers
baby monitor
The boppy is useful for more than feeding (breast or bottle)- DD uses hers for tummy time, naps, etc.
I also have brest friend pillow and while I love it- I only use it for feeding.
You can register for things like baby gates, potty seat, booster (feeding) seat, or a bumbo even though you won't use them right away.
I use my Aden and Anais blankets daily. I have about 10-12 other blankets that people gave me and have only used a couple of them when it was colder. My A&As have also doubled as nursing covers.
PPs pretty much already said it all- a play gym, bouncer, white noise/ sound machine (or the womb bear/ sleep sheep), or diaper pail are all things people like to buy. Just don't register for things you don't really want or plan to use just to have options for your family/ friends.
