I am debating on doing something big or small. i was thinking either a park or my gym or gymboree. if i do it at gymboree it would have to be smaller. my mom keeps telling me that the first birthday all the family and friends should be invited.lol. what are you doing??
Re: What are you doing for 1 year Birthday??Big or small?
I am not sure. At first I was thinking we would do something at our house with family and a few friends, but people that I wasn't planning on inviting are already mentioning it to me so I don't know. H's is born in Feb and in Denver we could have some pretty cold weather so it has to be indoors. I don't really want a ton of people at our house but it seems like such a waste to do it at a Kid place like the Children's Museum or Monkey Buziness, etc when a 1 year old won't really care.

I'm not sure yet. At first I was thinking it was ridiculous to have a huge party, but people keep asking if we are going to do anything. Our immediate families (parents, siblings, nieces/nephews) consist of about 30 people, plus we have close family friends (10+) that come to every family holiday (Christmas, etc) PLUS our friends and their kids. We have a 900 sf house. There's no way I want to host 50 people here, but it feels silly to rent a space for a 1st birthday party.
Decisions, decisions...

I'm an event planner, so I think it's expected that I go all out...I'm going to do it up big for birthday number 1, and then it will be just immediate family until LO has his own little school friends to invite.
