So in all seriousness do you get like..kick out of TTGP once you get a BFP or what?

That's why I was always a BOTB girl myself. You can be whatever you want to be and still post over there, as long as you aren't a twatwaffle.

Yeah, it's frowned upon to still be an active member on TTGP if you are KU, but I'll still put my 2 cents in when I can give advice. I looked at BOTB, but it looked like all moms, and I didn't know if people TTC were welcome when I started. I've lurked on BOTB before, but I've never posted or introduced myself.

BOTB is pretty much the best board ever. We have all walks of life there. Some are not even close to TTC, some are TTC, some have been TTC for a long time (IF), some are doing adoption, some are 1st time moms, 2nd time moms, moms of twins. Some have an older child and that's it, some are one and done, others are 2u2. It's just pretty much everything. And the girls there kick some major ass. Esspecially when it comes to someone needing support.

I vote troll. But what makes me sad is to think that there are actual women out there that run out to buy a HPT the same day they have unprotected sex for the first time. And I've also known NUMEROUS women that think that (myself included a LONG LONG time ago.....singing now hold on.....) you can get pregnant any day of the year.

I miss TTGP for the board dynamics. It gets on my nerves when I see people talking about being "preggers" or "prego" when I came from a board that doesn't deal with that stuff. (In case anyone is curious, the reasoning behind that is that we're adults. You're big enough to just say "pregnant".) But, that being said, teh dramz over there can be crazy. Some people can be unneccesarily harsh. (Then again, some people can be overly P&R.) There are pros and cons to every board.

I was on GP when it was still GP on the bump. They had the crazies and some drama, but once it turned into TTGP (shortly before my first BFP, the cycle I got KU I was taking a bump break) When I came back I was harassed for posting a drive-by! Since then I was like FVCK YOU to the TTGP board.

Same thing happened to me! Some poor women posted a vent in TTGP that was very similar to my situation and when i tried to give her some advice, i got my head chewed off by the group! Crazy!

That's knee slapping funny! LOL As crazy as that post was...this time for me, the two nights we BD'd and DH was not "careful" on what I knew (only based on my previous cycles when I charted and what days I O'd and CM patterns) were my most fertile days...I said to myself, watch...we just/will be conceiving....not that I felt the sperm meet the egg (LMAO) but just that feeling of I this was "perfect timing" (we weren't trying...but not being careful...seeing what would happen kind of thing...we wanted the little ones to be close in age 18-24 mos apart...and they will be 18 mos apart)

I pretty much knew I was pregnant too. I don't ovulate every cycle and my ovulation symptoms are very blatant. So when we had sex when I was ovulating I was pretty sure I had conceived. Not a physical feeling, but an intuition. And when we were TTC DS the 8 cycles (13 months) before I got pregnant I hoped, but never really felt like I was pregnant. The cycle I was pregnant, I just kinda KNEW the test would be positive.

I know the whole 20% deal, but I still felt like it was a done deal, and it was!
