mold in medela freestyle parts?!

hi ladies, i'm grossed out! i just noticed what looks like mold growing inside parts of the freestyle accessories - in the clear part that snaps on and connects the tube to the big yellow part, and also in the tiny areas of the big yellow parts that hold the shields. sorry for my terrible description - i don't know the part names.

I've followed all the cleaning instructions - has anyone else had this happen?! i'm contacting customer service, but do you think this could be a warranty issue?

    This happened to be as well - same parts. I think I just ended up getting new parts because I could never really get the mold fully out, and then being really diligent about rinsing after each use and cleaning them in the dishwasher AND going after them with a pipe cleaner.

    I don't think it's a warranty issue, although I could be wrong.

    i had mold grow in several parts of my medela PIS. i called customer service and they overnighted me all new parts. at no charge!
