A little freaked out...

in 1st Trimester
I went for my first appointment this past friday.  I had an ultrasound done ( 6 weeks 4 days) and the dr. only saw the sac.  She seemed positive that everything looked normal and that it was too early to see anything. I have another ultrasound this friday to see if there are any changes. I just hope and pray that something is in there this time :(

    I'm in the same boat.  I went in and measured 6w3d last Tuesday.  The u/s tech seen the sac and the fetal pole but said it was just probably too early to see the heartbeat.  I go back tomorrow for another u/s.  It has been a loooong week.

    I know this week seems sooo long.  Good luck I hope you see the heartbeat ;) Then maybe you can relax just a little:)

    The same thing happened to me. I went back 8 days later to check things out. And we saw our baby's heart going pitter-patter....to the tune of about 158 times per minute. And the doc had told us the same thing....that is was probably just too early. Hang in there and try to think positive. Good luck to both of you.
