Stringy CM? Back from ER update.

Hi ladies, I have been having a dull ache in my lower abdomen all day. I am guessing it is RLP, but when I just went to the bathroom there was a bunch of stringy clear cervical mucous. We did have sex last night so I guess it could be left over from that. Any insight?

CM does all sorts of funky things while pregnant. Unless it turns strange colors or develops a funky smell - I'd say it is normal fluctuations due to all the hormones flowing through your system.

Thanks! Just went to the ER to make sure everything is ok, the pains were getting really bad. The dr. there said it is def. not normal and that I need a "speculum exam" but that they don't do them at the ER but that I should get in with my OBGYN as early as possible in the morning. It is 8pm here right now. So I hope everything is ok!

ETA: He thinks it is some kind of infection, he said discharge associated with pain is what worries him.
