Hi Ladies!
I have PCOS and this past cycle I ovulated very late- on CD 32. It is part of the reason my BFP was such a big surprise because I wasn't even sure it was possible to ovulate so late.
I've been reading a lot of things stating that there is a higher risk of miscarriage when you ovulate later than normal. Does anyone have any experience with this topic? Any information would be much appreciated!
I'm trying so hard not to worry but I really want this to be my sticky baby. TIA!
Re: Delayed ovulation and miscarriage
First of all - congratulations!! I have PCOS and while our first DD was an IUI baby, our second was a complete surprise and shock. I ovulated somewhere around day 70 of my cycle and had no idea until a month later when I had some spotting, started smelling things, etc.
I asked my OB if there were any greater risks b/c of the later ovulation and she said absolutely not.
I know it is so hard to not worry after going through everything - but relax and enjoy the fact that you are pregnant!
