Do you ladies post a lot on the military families board? I?ve ran into some pretty snarky comments over there so I hold back with my posts now but it?s good to know we have a few over here so I can ask for advice on the May board.

I get snark from MN and MF boards...so I keep away. My DH is AD USMC since 2005. We are stationed ar MCRD PI he is a weapons instructor.

I don't post at all on the military board. My reason though is because we are Canadian and I found that all of the posts on the board were about American things that weren't quite relatable.
That being said, there are a lot of things we can all relate too, but I just didn't feel I had a place on those boards.

DH is National Guard but works full time for them, so he is M-F (well, M-F in the Army's terms) in addition to his one weekend a month, two weeks a year. He's coming up on his six year mark (resigning soon) and we've been through one deployment together and actually gearing up for another one right after the first of the year. I didn't realize there were so many military May mommas! And no, I don't post over on the military families board. One, it seems really slow, and two, it's a lot of active duty talk in regards to where everyone is stationed, so I never quite felt like I fit.
mh is ohio national guard, in for five years and resigning at the end of this enlistment. hes going to try to go ad because he really doesnt care for the national guard. were getting ready for our second deployment, first was just before we got married. he is a full time government technician that supplies the ong with all their supplies
fyi to any of you that dont know...the dod supplies us with a free membership to sitter city. i just got an email today and was going to start a new thread but this works for me

My DH just ended his military career last week! He was AD USMC for 4 years, then AR for 5. He was a Recon Marine and loved it, but we decided it wasn't a great life for our family considering how busy his regular full-time job is.

He's army (Canadian). I've been with him the whole time, plus a year. Two deployments, and two postings later, here we are!
