...I suppose it went okay, but I won't know anything for sure until a week from now when my blood results come back.
Mini was completely uncooperative for the entire thing, which ended up not being so terrible because I got to watch the screen for a pretty long time. When the tech needed baby to move, baby chilled out. When they needed baby to chill, baby was all over the damn place. They finally managed to get a measurement, which was higher than I would have liked, but the doctor seemed unconcerned. Another thing they look at is the presence or absence of the nasal bone and once again Mini was having none of it and wouldn't give the doctor a good angle or get his/her hands out of his/her face. So that was inconclusive, but she said not to worry about it.
So now it's a waiting game for the next week for my blood results to come back. If everything looks good with them, then I will be good to go. If there seems to be an issue in any way, they will bring me back in and have another go at trying to find the nasal bone.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried sick about this, but I'm trying to stay as positive as possible.
In the meantime, here is my favorite of the pictures they took today. Everything apparently looked a-okay and Mini is growing right on track to the day. Heart rate was 168BPM and we got to hear it much clearer than we did the other week.
Re: I had my NT scan this morning...
I'm sure all is well, try not to worry. Your baby is super cute!
If it makes you feel better, I can SEE a nasal bone right there plain as day
A cute one!
Oh my goodness!! What a precious little face!!!
I was going to say the same thing! It looks obvious to me too! I'll be in your shoes come Thursday, so we can worry together! I love your mini tho...so cute!!

This is probably why my doc is scheduled me for bloodwork for a week before the u/s. The anticipation would kill me too, hang in there

So sweet!
I am still amazed every time I see u/s from this early. It's truly amazing that you are growing a little person inside you.
It is under 3mm. (It was actually 2.5...they weren't going to tell me at all since I know the number doesn't mean really anything without the blood work, but my wonderful husband saw it on the screen and told me. So now he feels bad for freaking me out. I just need to stay off the damn Google.)
Thanks so much, ladies.
I think Mini is pretty darn adorable. He/she was waving little arms all over the place and just chilling in there with his/her legs crossed. In all but 2 of the 7 photos they gave me, I can see what I think would be the nasal bone, but I guess the doc didn't get the exact angle she wanted. ::shrug::
I hope this week goes by fast!!!! My blood has to go all the way to New York which is why it's taking so long. Grrrrrr.
Aww Salty I just love this picture!!! So freaking adorable!!!!
And like many of the other lovely ladies have said, try not to worry! I know it's hard not to, but worrying definitely doesn't help anything! It will just stress you out more! *big hugs*

My Blog!
Well at least you got a pic - LOL...not only did my munchkin refuse to flip over, it moved the entire time...full somersaults, arms swinging and legs kicking! It was facing my back the entire time! So we have no pics :-(. Despite that the Dr. was able to get some good measurements and said everything looked really good. We go back in 7 weeks for the Anatomy scan and hopefully gender determination.
Doesnt sound like you have anything to worry about. Congrats on your baby.
Very cute pic!
I am sure that everything is ok, and the blood work will confirm it. Best of luck
Thanks so much for the sweet comments, ladies. The doc wasn't concerned so I guess I shouldn't be either!
If the dr seemed unconcerned then it's likely nothing to worry about... my fingers are crossed for you!!
PS- Cute babe!
Our crazy, wonderful life
Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born.
6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived
10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP
So 2.5 is good though and that could account for some variability in the u/s tech's technique to be honest, that's why they need to the AFP results in addition to the NT fluid level because humans make mistakes and it's not an exact science. But still I understand your concern but try not to worry. *hug*
