I posted on 3T over the weekend about my less-than-desirable embryo transfer experience on Saturday (here). Long story short - we transferred two 5-day blasts, one graded 1BB and one graded 1BC. The doctor (NOT my regular doctor) basically crapped all over our embies and gave us no hope of this cycle working out.
I can't stop obsessing over whether or not these grades are truly as terrible as the doctor made them out to be, so my question for you all is, did anyone have success with embryos that were graded this way?
Thanks so much!
Re: Question for IVF Ladies (from 3T)
I don't know the grades either, but my embies were all fragmented or a little behind. One of three took. I remember reading at the time that you never know by the way embryos look that they will take. I have also seen plenty of cases on here with grade AA embryos that didn't result in pregnancies. So anything can happen! Hang in there and take good care of yourself in the 2ww.
I stopped worrying about embryo grades...I transferred 6 "perfect" embryos on 3 different ET attempts - all BFNs. I transferred 2 from what my RE nurse called "the JV squad" and one of those little ones is kicking me as I type this
.
GL...
That is all very helpful, thanks!
Me = lean PCOS;DH = poor morphology (3%)
3 IUI/TI cycles = BFN
IVF #1 with ICSI: antagonist protocol = BFFN
IVF #2 with ICSI : Lupron downregulation = BFFN...FML
IVF #3 with ICSI and AH (Antagonist) = IT'S A BOY!!!!
That made me laugh!
