Where do you shop for your LO's?

I usually go to the same places and was wondering where everyone else goes?

I go to Children's place for jammies
Gymboree, Gap and then Jack and Janie for special events.

I also pick a few things up a Target when I run in for my one item and leave with 10.

  • Hanna Andersson for pajamas. They are more $$ but will easily last through 2 kids or more. Very high quality. Their underwear are also wonderful. I also like their swim suits.

    Gap, especially jeans

Nordstrom. They carry a wide variety of styles and price points. best variety for boys in town.

On line: Boden.com (although they do carry Mini Boden at Nordstrom), teacollection.com, ralphlauren.com

  • I get my mom  to make or smock a lot

I love Gymboree.  I get some things at Carter's as well.

JCP for some carter's things(use my mom's discount)

Old Navy and Gap don't fit her right.

I'll actually buy NWT Gymboree things off Ebay as well.

  • I used to do most of DS shopping at Carters, but I have now boycotted them for their false advertising practices.

He spends a lot of time in what deem as play clothes-knit shorts and t shirts- which I get mostly at Target and Walmart. Other wise I get him stuff at Old Navy, Gap, Gymboree, Osh Kosh ( yes, I know they are owned by Carters, but I have have problems with them) Sometimes I find things at JCP and Kohls as well. I haven't really tried the online stores. The sizing guides often are very accurate and i really need to see the clothing in person to know what size to get since DS torso is long and thin, tops often are too short on him in the suggested size.

  • Target and Kohls for play clothes. Gymboree, sometimes Carters (there's none near me), plus a lot at the consignment stores near us. Ebay as well for particular items I want. Also I keep my eye out at TJ Maxx and Marshall's. Sometimes there are some great finds, other times it's a pile of baby hooker clothes.

  • When he was younger, pretty much Carter's only.  Now I get some stuff at Kohl's but still shop a lot at Carter's.

  • Honestly, I don't buy many clothes for DS.  His bday is end of March, so he gets a lot of summer clothes for presents (I specifically tell ppl he needs clothes, b/c he certainly doesn't need any more toys!  lol).  Then I will usually buy the next year's stuff through sales and Gymbucks at Gymboree.

I do usually buy some pieces for winter - and I go to Kohl's for that.  They are usually only $5 each, and I get several pairs of pants and LS shirts that will coordinate together.  And sometimes he will get a few pieces for Xmas to finish out the winter.

  • Most clothes come from consignment sales twice a year. Most of her stuff is Gap, Old Navy, Carter's, or Gymboree, and some Circo/Target brand. In the spring I bought her entire spring/summer wardrobe for under $40, except I bought her new sandals and some Monkey Bar Buddies to wear under her dresses.

  • Gymboree and Macy's mostly, Kohl's sometimes for specific items.  Today I bought from Crazy 8 for the first time.  I can't wait to see how the quality is.
