hey there!!
i miss your blog updates, but i imagine you are super busy these days.
how is your LO?
E is doing well thank God. we do PT twice a week, we're working on crawling and building muscles for walking. loves to eat, but i'm working with him on moving to more stage 3 foods, it looks like we might be headed to OT for that. he's good with stage 2 foods, but anything with more texture to it he seems to have an aversion.
we are enjoying summer -- that's for sure
Re: njdcgirl
Hey there! Nice to "see" you!!
My blog has totally dissolved since we've been home from the NICU - first, there wasn't much to say (he's home, he's sleeping, he's eating, he's growing, we're so happy....) and now that he's doing so much more who has the time!!
I am so glad that I kept that journal while he was in the NICU, b/c I never want to forgot that time and all he went through.
A is doing awesome - he gets OT 2x/month and seems to be doing really well with most of his milestones so far - he's pulling up and cruising now, and just getting into everything - which is fun, but exhausting! He seems behind verbally to me, although literally in the past 2 weeks he's had a breakthrough and babbling a lot more, which makes me happy. Eating took awhile for him too - I kept trying finger foods for months and months, and he would keep gagging and throwing up everytime. Finally, he was able to handle puffs, and now is doing pretty well with most anything that is soft. I'll be curious to see how OT handles E's adversions - b/c I think A may still have some as well with certain things.
A big change is coming through - we are in the process of moving out of state to be closer to my family and where I grew up. I'm sad to leave this area - I've been down here 15 years, and we need to find new daycare situation for A and I'm so sad to leave his nanny - who is amazing and loves him to death.
So glad that you are having a fun summer - I just caught up on your blog too - and that E is doing well. It's so amazing how far they have come!!!
