Baby girl is sleeping in our room!

Thanks for all the good wishes!  So far, so good!   The baby was born last night at 9 PM.  We we'd just pulled into the parking lot (drove in from out of state) and it was time. We couldn't be in the OR since it was an unscheduled C-section... that's okay.  Enough emotions as it is w/o being there in the middle of the birth. 

She is healthy!  And seems so tiny but she's 8 lbs adn 20 inches.   We are in love!

The hospital has been great.  We are in our own room which is across from the birth family.  We've been seeing them on and off all day. 

BF has signed his forms today.  BM will sign on Wednesday AM.  (Prayers for her are appreciated... she's is doing well but I know it's got to be hard.)

We have named her... I'll share once TPR is done...

 Oh, and the best part, my parents are in the same state so they are helping with our other baby girl.

    Awe- SO happy for you! I'm so glad that the hospital has been good to you, and that BF forms are taken care of.  Praying for your family as well as for BM's family!

    If you need ANYTHING during ICPC (meals, company, whatever) let me know!

    Oh wow!  I'm so happy for you!  I hope everything goes very smoothly!  Will definitely keep you all and birth mom in our prayers!
    TTC #1 since 12/07 SA 9/08=borderline normal HSG 1/09 found R tube blocked Multiple IUIs both with oral and injectible drugs from 2/09-2/11 Started domestic adoption process in 5/10, homestudy complete 9/10 Failed adoption after home with baby for 2 weeks 11/10 Blessed through the miracle of private adoption with a son, born 6/6/11 (his grandma's bday) 7lbs 9oz 20.5 inches long! So worth the wait!

    We became A "Forever Family" on February 21,2011. Exactly 1 year from the day we began our adoption journey! Baby Girl joined our family October 5, 2011 we will be finalizing her adoption soon!     CONGRATS!

    Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever!     Eek, I was so excited to see an update!! I am so, so happy and excited for all 4 of you. Thankful to hear the hospital has been great and that you have baby girl with you. Many thoughts and prayers for BM and you guys. Can't wait to hear her name :)

    We are very excited to adopt! Application sent to agency December 2010. Homestudy complete May 2011. We went into the books in July 2011. After years of trying it's nice to have a light at the end of a very long, dark tunnel. DD born in September 2011. We finalize our adoption this week!     Congrats! So excited for you! Hope everything how's smoothly with TPR and ICPC.

    TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
