gymboree question

Does anyone know what line this is from?

I got it at the outlet and they didn't have the matching skirt in her size. I've been trying to find it on ebay.com. They have a similar shirt but it's a different plaid in the tie and has more emblems then just the dog. That line is listed as school girls rock.

Re: gymboree question

  • Smart Girls Rule?

I found a similar line from 2007, but I doubt you'd find that at the outlet now. I think it's supposed to coordinate, but not match maybe? Either way, cute!!

Thanks- that's the different one! I meant to put the name in the OP. The plaid in her shirt is pink, red and blue instead of green. They had some skirts that were blue courderoy with hearts on it that went with it. It's a different line slightly. Gymboree is slick man, they change stuff up by a color or two each year so if you want it to go you have to buy the new line. And here I am falling for their tomfoolery.

  • Yeah they're tricky tricky tricky.

Hopefully you'll be able to find the matching skirt, it's way cute!

  • Could it have been at the outlet bc it was slightly different than the rest of the line? It looks so much like Smart Girls Rule, I'd be surprised if there was a different line so similar.

  • The fact that you have two boys and know these things Mrs Kimmer is quite impressive.

I tend to stay clear of Gymbo altogether :-)

here's the weird part. the plaid and style matches New York Girl or school girls rock stuff-but with a different type of dog. But there was a whole line of clothes that isn't coming up on either the smart girl or new york stuff-tons of skirts, tops, sweaters, etc that they carried.

I keep searching the code on the tag and nothing is coming up except a conversation about it on the gymbo friends that it won't let me access or sign up to access.

I called the outlet this morning and she doesn't even know what it is but is calling other outlets to see if she can find the skirt I want!!

LOL I'm just a good stalker.

We have a couple  things, but I'll confess, for my boys at least, that I really don't like Gymbo stuff.

I don't really love Gymbo either. It's a little too matchy matchy for me. I do have a few pieces that she wears with other stuff...like Gymbo capris with a solid shirt, or a Gymbo shirt with plain jeans, but I generally don't like an entire ensemble.

Not to mention I rarely spend that much money on clothes for myself, much less my kids.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I felt like I was confessing a crime when I said that.

I think they have some cute stuff, but I think it's spendy unless you find a good sale/outlet and most everything I've bought there (which admittedly is only like 5-6 things) fits my boys really oddly. Like their sizes are off or something.

I agree. Natalie is a petite girl, but it's just insane that she wears 18-24, and sometimes 12-18 in Gymbo clothes! Julia would probably still wear their preemie size, but I refuse to buy it.

  • Have you tried Prep School? I think it would match:

I think they run small! C would already wear 12-18 months a month ago when she's not close to that size in any other brand.
