Head support in car seat?

We are registering for an infant seat and a convertible seat.   My car will have the infant seat since we use my car more and the convertible will be in DH's car.  Do I need to buy additional head support for the convertible seat for when the baby is really tiny?  If so, what?  Thanks.

Re: Head support in car seat?

  • If the car seat doesn't have one then yes you will need to buy one.  Also our infant seat came with one but Max's head was too big for it after about a week so we ended up buying another one for the infant seat too.  This is the one we bought https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3591072 we liked this because you can remove the inner headrest when LO's head gets bigger and just use the bigger one until LO has more head/neck control.
