We are thinking of getting this slide for $120, perfect condition, off of craigslist. Strangely the people live a few houses down from us and we can see it in their backyard, so it's convenient too. It's $260-300 new. The thing is, my LO is a daredevil. She only goes on the tallest slides at the park, loves the 30 foot bounce slide at the bounce place (I won't even go down it!) and she's only 20 months old. We go to the park a lot but we were thinking of getting her something for home, and don't want to get a big playground just yet. We go to the park a lot in the winter/spring, but it's way too hot right now to go and she begs for the slide every day.
Is this something she will get bored with quickly? Would your LO like this for awhile? The suggested age is 2 years to 8 years, and reviews say 2-5 years.
What do you think, yes or no?
Re: Is this slide too small for a toddler?
Im sure your LO will enjoy it. Anytime you can get them outside and excited to play is a great thing. We have a huge playset (slide, rock climbing wall, three swings etc...) will last our kids a lifetime. They dont always play on it, but when they do its a blast.
We had a smaller one at first and only upgraded because we wanted something with two swings and we got a great deal through a friend, but our son loved the smaller one as well.
I am sure that once winter hits more will come up for sale. I would look for one with a swing as well, but the one you showed looks just as awesome.
