Can anyone share with me their favorite blogs about transracial adoptive families? DH and I are both white with a bio DD (3y/o), and recently applied to adopt domestically - any race. Our agency tells us in all likelihood, we will be matched with a biracial or AA baby. Would love to read about other's experiences. thanks!
Re: Transracial adoption blog
My wife and I (Mexican and white) are adopting an AA girl. My blog isn't about transracial adoption but the topic gets touched on every now and then. The link is in my siggy.
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
She writes about race fairly regularly. They have an AA son they adopted via foster care, a bio (CC) daughter, a son they adopted from Haiti and another bio daughter.

My husband and I are also white and look forward to a bi-racial or AA adoption.
I love checking out Creating a Family:

I found this link on their site which I send to my husband and mom to read on a regular basis. Check out the 'Ask the Experts' link on this page. It gives the point of view of a (now adult) transracial adopted child.

I have also enjoyed reading Rage Against The Minivan's blogs.
If you find anything else please let me know
Here's my favorite. She's got 6 kids; 4 of them adopted transracially. I love her perspective and her honesty and how hard she works to make sure they experience and appreciate their cultures.
