Second best day of my life

If you are considering having one, DO IT!!! It took less than 3 months to jump through all the hoops to get my insurance to finally cover it. I am so freakin' happy.

I can wear normal tops and dresses now. And I don't have to buy my $100 bras over the internet anymore I can buy a bra at TARGET Big Smile

I am really happy.

I'm honestly jealous. I'm 5'3, with scoliosis and current 38F/G's. DH and I both agreed that as soon as we decide that we're done having kids, I'm having the surgery. Before kids I was a 34C and I will happily go back to that.

How long is your projected recovery time?

I definitely plan on getting one as soon as I am done having kids. Right now (not breastfeeding, same as pre-pregnancy) I'm a 30FF and it sucks! While I was breastfeeding I have no idea what size I was, I didn't fit into any bras, so I just wore nursing tanks.

I was a 38G, now I am a D, but once the swelling goes down I expect to be a full C.

My recovery so far has been fairly easy. I am on vicodin, so that certainly helps!

I cannot lift anything over 10 lbs for 2 weeks. So no lifting J

My MIL and SIL are taking over this week, and my mom is coming next week to help with J. FI is a huge help, too, of course. I am still able to feed him, change him, hold him on my lap... I just can't lift him in and out of his crib, or in and out of his highchair.

I was concerned about breastfeeding, too. But my milk never came in this time around, so my OB said I likely wouldn't be able to bf next time either. I figured I might as well do the reduction now. My plastic surgeon said subsequent pregnancies shouldn't affect their perkiness, but that they may go up a cup size. I since I don't mind a D as long as they are perky, I went ahead and did it now

I felt immediate relief the first time I got up out of the hospital bed and walked 5 feet to the bathroom. I was so happy I got tears in my eyes. My nurse was laughing at me. I guess I would have laughed at me, too.
