We have a Sony Babycall for DD#1 right now. What do you all do if you have your kids in separate rooms? DD#2 is sleeping in our room in her bassinet while DD#1 is in her own room. Do you buy two different monitors? Buy another transmitter? TIA!
We bought a separate one even though lo#2 is in our room still. I wanted a portable one so we could be outside when LO 2 naps and we didn';t have to be stuck in the house.

We have a Summer Infant Slim & Secure video monitor. When #2 was born we ordered an additional camera. The monitor can scan up to four cameras. Even when #2 was still sleeping in our bedroom we had the need for a second monitor when we were downstairs or outside during naps or after bedtime.
I was just going to ask that. Mine are only going to be 13.5 months apart but in separate rooms. I have an Angelcare that I want to keep for the baby since it can sense the breathing, but I guess I will need one for Silvie because she'll only be about 15-16 months when we put the baby in the crib. I'm thinking about getting a video monitor for my older childs room. What do you think?

This sounds like me exactly!! Our two will be 13-14 months apart and we have the Angelcare monitor. I've been thinking about getting the Summer infant Slim & Secure, but it's so darn expensive. We may just use a cheap sound monitor in DD's room and the Angelcare in DS's room until we can figure something else out but the more active DD has become I'm pretty sure I want a video monitor in there with her...
SAHM to the sweetest little girl and boy... I love my job!
