Pumping at a concert?

So my wonderful husband got me tickets to Kattfest in OKC for my 31st bday, mimi is keeping the LO and I am so excited to get away for the first time in 13 weeks! Today it hit me that I am breast feeding and the concert starts at noon and will probably last until midnight... There is no way that I can go that long without pumping but I cannot see carrying my PISA to a rock concert. lol. I will obviously be pumping and dumping because I am sure that I will partake in the spirits. I have a manual pump that the hospital gave me, I have never used and I am not sure that it will do the job... Any advise?

    I went to a  Jimmy Buffett concert last month and was away from her from noon-2am.  I fed her right before I left, pumped around 6pm (I was super engorged but was drinkinganddidn't want to pump too much) and then went into the concert and then pumped again in the parking lot after the concert 11pm.  Fed her when I got home at 2am and then pumped after I fed her.  It took a couple days to get the engorgement down from all of that but the fun was completely worth it.

    Lurking from June 2011...

    I went to an all day concert last month. I brought my manual and pumped in the First Aide Tent. It worked out really well.

    Im actually going to an all day show on Saturday! I plan on feeding her at 12 when we drop her at my moms and Im bringing my battery pack for my electric. I'll pump quickly in the car while my husband/friends are tailgating and then again when we get back to the car! It will still be about a 6 hour stretch but its better than 12 hours! I did that at a concert I went to last month and lets just say, I dont think Brad Paisley was impressed when I met him after the concert with lactation that leaked THROUGH the breast pad!! :/

    I went to a concert 5 weeks pp and asked when I entered the gates if I could leave halfway through and return because I was breastfeeding.

    Security didn't even want to go there with that one and they permitted me to do so. I'd either haul your BP in with you, take a manual in your purse (to manually express) or see if they'll make a re-entry exception for you.
