H and I currently live in Utica, NY, where I also grew up. H was born In San Diego, CA, but moved here when he was 5. We originally met at our high school (I was a freshman while he was a senior), but we didn't really get to know each other and start dating until several years later when I was finishing up college.

How did you meet? At a bar! Me and my two girlfriends were finishing our last drink and about to go to another bar when this guy came up to one of my friends, took her hand and said "You must be an art teacher, because you have beautiful hands". Ugh! So I looked across the bar and spotted this good-looking, super tall guy and waived him over. When he came over I said "Save us from this guy, he has awful lines!" and he said "Oh that is my friend ___________". After that we all drank together and the rest is history!

H and I live in Anaheim, CA but we grew up mostly in L.A County. We met in high school when he was a junior and i was a sophomore. We were friends first and started dating the year after that and have been together ever since! Thats almost 9 years but we've only been married for 2 and now we're TTC! How did you meet? I worked in the recovery room at one of our local hospitals, and DH works as an orthopedic implant sales rep.. so we always saw each other. We would always go out with the same group of work friends, but were both in relationships (and I never liked him like that).. but eventually we were both single and things just fell into place!

How did you meet? We met through a friend. I worked with his friend and they were roommates at the time. I went over to their house for a birthday party. We ended up talking till 5 in the morning.

We went to high school together but never spoke to each other that I remember. I went away to college. He went into the military. We both moved back (at different times). I set my status on Facebook one day that I really needed help mowing my huge-ass lawn. He volunteered to come help me. I checked out his recent pics, decided he was too good-looking to see that I'd let my yard get in such bad shape, mowed it myself, and called him to tell him the job was done but that he could come to my bonfire that weekend. He did. Then he said that seeing me again really "made his night" and that he needed to take me out as soon as possible. So for old time's sake we went to our old high school football game. The rest is history.

How did you meet? We met in a class in college. I didn't like him at first because he called me makeup girl since he couldn't remember my name (I was a makeup artist). Eventually he won me over though and we became friendly, then we started hanging out more and the rest is history.

Where do you currently reside? We live in The Castro in San Francisco, CA but are moving back to Brooklyn next summer. Moving here for a change of scenery made us realize that our hearts are in NYC.
How did you meet? We actually met in 2005 in Fort Greene, our old neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY where we both lived until last summer. I went to the local bar to meet a guy (I was new to the city and he kindly offered to introduce me around... he later got creepy, big surprise). The only seat open at the bar was next to Justin. In the hour + that my "date" was late, we got to talking and have been together ever since! That's what happens when you're late, lol!

IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies. ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts.
Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy. Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

We lost touch, but a year or so later, he was single and I was single and he looked me up on Facebook. We went out on our first date on September 13th 2004, decided to become "exclusive" four days later, (moved fast!) and were married five years later October 24 2009 (not quite as fast lol.)

I'm shocked to see so many people say they met their SO on the internet. Very few people actually know where my DH and I met. He was working town I went to college in and we met in yahoo chat. Almost 7 years later we are going strong!

We didn't start dating until much later, and when we got married his best friend from that day was his best man!

How did you meet? At a bar. We were both there with separate groups of friends. He was out on the dance floor, slightly inebriated, breaking out his best dance moves (which aren't all that great), and trying to get my attention. I thought he was creepy (maybe it was the dancing). My friend kept trying to get me to go out there and dance with him, but I wouldn't. Finally, I think I had enough drinks in me to go out there and we have been inseparable since! According to his friends, he wouldn't stop talking about me on the way home that night.
