Hi Ladies,
I've been posting over at TTTC but I was happily surprised to get a BFP yesterday.
I saw my RE today for bloodwork and my beta was 97 but my progesterone was low at 13. He's prescribing progesterone suppositories which I'll start taking immediately, but this news has me feeling worried. I go back in Sunday morning for another test.
Does anyone have any experience with low progesterone? Is this "normal"? Can this still result in a healthy pregnancy? Any information would be really helpful. Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it.
Re: XP- Coming from 3T and low progesterone
I was on suppositories until week 12. My dosage was 1 supp twice/day until week 11, then 1 supp/day. I am 14 weeks & so far so good!
Many ladies are also on PIO shots. I think being on progesterone is fairly common around here.
My RE put me on them during every 2ww, since I had a very short LP.
HTH!

I had low progesterone as well. I took 200 mg of prometrium vaginally 1x day through the first trimester. Also if you are taking the progesterone vaginally, know that not all of the progesterone will show up in your bloodwork as it goes directly into the vaginal area where it is needed, so don't freak out if your numbers don't sky rocket!
Like you I was worried, but I am 30 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby in me! So, hang in there and try not to worry yourself to death. (Easier said than done...I know!)
