Trying to Get Pregnant

Would you POAS? (ticker warning)

Sorry, I did a really, really, really crappy job of charting this month. But, I am confused b/c my temp is rising and I had some cramping on day 14 and 22, then nipple soreness on day 23 and 24. I also had EWCM a random second time around day 23.  I'm just getting back in the swing of things. If I don't get pg this month (which I honestly doubt), I will probably wait till June to ttc, to be honest. Its my first cycle pp. Prior to DD, my cycles were 24-26 days long. I know that BFing can throw things totally off. We only had sex once b/c I was out of town, then DH was out of town.

Anyway, I have to go to the store today. I am wondering if I should pick up some el-cheapo tests while I am there, or if I need to chill out.

Honestly, I feel kinda dumb for posting this, because I bet I am jumping the gun. But, whatevs. Let me know if it does not work. IT wont be clicky b/c I'm a mac. Thanks, ladies. I appreciate it!

  • If it's driving you crazy, just poas. That's always my rule. As long as you're using $tree cheapies, what's $1 compared to your sanity?

  • Mid lp estrogen can rise again causing a dip in temp along with ew fluid.  Maybe this is what you're experiencing?
  • You could POAS (I probably would) but yeah, BF'ing reeeally throws things off. I thought I was PG my first cycle post-partum as well, and it turns out that it just took a 2.5 month hiatus before really starting back up again. I've heard of that happening to other people since then too, where they get a "phantom period" and then nothing for a while. If that does happen, you'll drive yourself crazy testing all the time.
