This is tough, because DH has kind of hazel eyes (pretty pale blue with a golden center), and I counted those as blue. I think I have blue eyes, but DH insists mine are green. I guess they are a greenish blue, but they change depending on the weather and what I'm wearing. If you count DH as blue and me as green, we have a 50% of blue and 50% of green.
That was a neat little diagram. I got 83% brown, 8 % blue, 8% green. I know this LO will have brown eyes. DH and I both have brown. So does his parents and my mom. My dad has blue.
I actually have hazel eyes...so my closest guess was green. I would love my LO to get my eyes...they are a crazy looking green color. I've always gotten tons of compliments on them!
I did this with DD,too, but my problem is that my mom and I (and now DD) have hazel eyes. Not straight brown, not straight green. So I feel like the results are flawed!
But it would be nice if DS would get DH's baby blues!
Well, that's stupid! My momma has hazel eyes, and turns out so does my DS. I have brown and DH has blue. How can they predict eye color without including all the color options?

I think the reason is because all other color options: hazel, gray, gold, violet etc. Are actually the same genes with different allelic properties or mutations. So there's no real way to predict that. (I believe I read this somewhere.)
We got:
Blue 8% Green 8.6% Brown 83.3%
I think this is so interesting! My baby will be hapa, so I was curious to what eye colors we could get, even though DH and I both have brown eyes. My mom and both my sisters have blue eyes, so I know I carry the blue eyed genes and hazel and green do run in our family. I've seen lots of hapa babies who have hazel or light brown eyes, so we'll see!
I have blue eyes with a bit of brown in the center, DH has brown eyes, but carries a recessive blue from his mom. My daughter turned out with a grayish brownish hazel combination. DH is hoping for some big blues
DH has beautiful green/hazel eyes that change color all the time. I have brown eyes. I really hope the 20% chance for green eyes comes true for our little boy! If they are anything like his dad's they'll be breathtaking.

I don't need the fun calculator for this - too bad! My eyes are blue and so are my DH's so there's no chance our baby will have anything but blue eyes. That's ok though! I love blue eyes.
My stepson has his fathers beautiful blue eyes even though his mom had brown eyes!! So hopefully my baby can be lucky too and get daddy's pretty blues.

50/50 green/blue. Which actually surprises me. I tend to think of my family as having dark hair and dark eyes, but I tend to forget most of my family has blue eyes, actually.

Totally cool! 75% brown for us (no surprise there). 16% blue, 9% green.
FX for blue or green! Heck, purple would be fine if it wasn't brown!
Probably gonna have all brown-eyed kids, though.
50% brown, 37.5% blue, 12.5% green...I'm hoping for blue or green!
Me too. I would love for LO to have my blue eyes because he will probably have H's black hair. I love blue eyes and black hair.
