I had a growth ultrasound today at 29weeks 4 days and the baby is measuring at the 90th percentile. I was so excited - I think the doctor thinks I am nuts. I was happy she is big.
I was diagnosed with GD at the beginning of the month but I don't see my OB again til the 29th. I'll be interested to see if they have me do a growth u/s.
Do you have to have another ultrasound around 36 weeks? Our little boy measured 4lbs 4 oz at our 30 week ultrasound on Tuesday, in the 84th percentile. So they said I need another ultrasound at 36 weeks to check the growth because if he goes into the 90th percentile they will most likely do a c-section. Has your doctor mentioned anything like this to you? I was really hoping to avoid a c-section.
I had my growth ultrasound on Wednesday at 30 weeks, 1 day and Jack is weighing 3 lbs 12 oz and his head is measuring in the 97th percentile! AHHH! The rest of him is "on target" or just a little bit ahead. They told me we will do another u/s at my 36 week appointment to make a more informed decision based on his size then... so glad to see some other big babies!
Btw, I am considered borderline for GD so we kind of expected this...

At our 30w 4d appointment our son was weighing 4lbs 4 oz! We are at a high risk fetal medicine office and no one seemed to concerned. Both me and my DH were 9lb babies and it seems like this guy is right on track. Everyone thinks i'm nuts but I'm thrilled to potentially have a big baby.
I went yesterday at 29w4d. The u/s tech said she weighed 3.2 lbs. but didn't say what percentile she was in. Her head was really low down in my pelvis though.
Married 5/31/08 * TTC#1 9/09 - 2/11 after anovulatory diagnosis and TTC for 1 1/2yrs with several medicated cycles and one chemical pregnancy, we have our first bundle of joy!
IT'S A GIRL!
#2 EDD 2/5/13 dx with anti-BIG E antibody, seeing a MFM
I don't take one single minute for granted.

you must be pretty high up there (%ile)
I have another growth u/s in 2 weeks. I hope she keeps growing and isnt just in the middle of a growth spurt. On the one hand, I dont care if I have to have a c/s, but if my platelets dont increase - I am scared to be cut open.
I take medicine that make me at a higher risk of a low birth weight baby, so this is really good news.

I had a growth check at 29w5d and my little one measured 3lbs 1oz. They said she was in the 48th percentile, so my guess would be you're around there too.
