Hungry but nauseous

I am so hungry, but the thought of actully eating makes feel worse.Even my go-to comfort foods I can't imagine eating. Should I just force myself to eat something? Any ideas?

Re: Hungry but nauseous

  • Oh yuck. I know it sounds unbearable, but it would be good to get just a little bit of something in your stomach. Maybe some Ensure or a smoothie?

((hugs))  And hope the worst passes soon.

  • Like PP said, it's a good idea to try to keep something in your stomach, no matter how unappetizing food sounds. Maybe try some crackers or cereal to settle your stomach a bit, then see if you could eat something more substantial.

  • I am the same way right now.  I get these extreme hunger pains but then nothing sounds good, and when I try thinking of things to eat it makes me want gag (just thinking about it!)  I've been having a lot of smoothies for lunches and breakfast (Jamba Juice is the best) but I also make my own with yogurt, milk, and frozen fruit.  This has been one of the only thing that sounds good to me lately.
