FYI - COA - sucks

If you have City of Austin you might want to double check the Solid Waste portion of your bill.  Over the last 6 months they have chargerd us for "extra bags" when we NEVER have extra bags or a need for them.  So they have taken $56 from us.... 

BUTT NUGGETS!!

I have already called to complain once and have never heard anything back - I am about to make call #2.  SO not something I want to deal with.

    They will charge you for an extra bag if your trash can lid does not close completely.  So if anything is sticking out or the lid is ajar - you get slapped with an extra charge. I agree with you though, it's crappy.

    Ditto this.  I have been charged before b/c my can was too full for my lid to close all the way.  Crazy!
