2 month shots

Corbin had hs 2 month visit today and he did really well with the shots, only cried for a few seconds. Tonight at 8pm I picked him up to feed him and I touched his legs and it was an instant scream. He cried so hard he stopped breathing, turned bright red, it was awful. I felt so horrible because I could not do anything for him but try to calm him down before I gave him pedia care (tylenol). He just kept looking at me like mom why are you not helping me, broke my heart. He finally stopped crying around 9pm after the medicine kicked in.

I give you ladies with colicy babys much props!!!! I dont know how I could deal with a baby who cries for hours. I don't think I would have any tears left.

    aw isn't that terrible? mine did that yesterday too but thankfully he's back to my happy baby this morning! GL

    We have our shots on Monday - but we also have a colicky baby - so crying (for hours) is nothing new to us.. but I am still working myself up since I know the crying will be for something different!  I am happy to see so many people posting that the next day things get better!  We are going early in the AM... so hoping she can just sleep all day!

    We had some really bad nights of non stop crying from 3-6 weeks, but luckily her grew out of that stage because he's been so calm for the last 2 weeks. Then last night he was so fussy after his shots, and DH and I were so freaked out! It's amazing how fast we've forgotten his fussy days.

    Our LO had his 2 mo shots yesterday and it was the same thing. I gave him a little tylenol at the drs office, he screamed a bit, and slept most of the afternoon. But at night screamed his poor little head off when I touched his legs, which is hard not to do when you're rocking him to sleep! Gave him some more and he finally fell asleep. Unfortunately he woke up again a few hours later with a fever :( and had to give him some more. Poor kid barely slept. Thankfully he was back to his happy self this morning.
