When to call dr?

Sick during pregnancy- when to call doctor??? My sister is 27 weeks pregnant and feels warm, achy, is coughing up mucus, etc. Her fiancee is telling her to call the doctor. Just curious what others would do. I haven't been sick throughout my pregnancy thank goodness...

Depends on how high the temp is, I'd imagine.

I'd only call if my temp was over 100 and Tylenol wasn't working.

And coughing up the mucus is better than letting it sit.

I honestly think there is no harm in calling the doctor for just about anything during pg. That's what they are there for. That being said, I do think that certain things should probably just wait for an office hour phone call, not the answering service or emergency line. I would probably call in the morning once the office is open.
